The Social Network for Travel Niche

The world of social networks is becoming more and more of a specialized one. No, that does not mean you will see the disappearance of the massive social networks with millions upon millions of members. They will always be around due to the many benefits of their size and scope. However, you will also see a continued growth in smaller sites which provide a niche world for those with specific interests. A social network for travel would be a perfect example of a niche social network and why such social networks are highly valuable.

The fact a social network for travel is something many people – and fellow travelers — would find appealing is not really something which should even be considered surprising. All you have to do is look at a great site such as MooPlace and all the amazing benefits of such a social network are immediately revealed. Basically, social networks such as this can better provide for what the members of the network are seeking.

This is not to say that those major social networking sites which are home to many different groups promoting travel interests have no value. All social networks which are promoting travel related groups and people who have a love for travel have merit. However, the sheer size and scope of travel networks of these nature can make it a little difficult to cut through all the non-travel related components to the site. When you want to learn info about a particular travel destination or booking, you probably do not want to muddle through the process of finding info. You want to get right to the info you are seeking. With a niche site, the odds of achieving such a goal become a lot easier.

A social network for travel is exactly that. It is designed solely for those who are interested in topics and discussions related to travel. This ensures you are always focused on the subject matter you are looking for information on. Of course, a social networking site for travel is also designed to be social. You will certainly find a social network for travel – and solely for travel — to be the best online venue for doing so.

This is not to say that those major social networking site with travel groups are best avoided. They definitely are a lot of fun and home to all manner of unique information. Once again, the trouble with the major social networking sites is the fact travel is only one of thousands of different topics associated with it. Anyone interested is just cutting right to the chase and immersing themselves with travel themes and topics and fellow travelers will want to sign onto a niche site.

Niche sites might not have the highest number of people who are members. The mere fact they are niche sites infers their membership will not be so massive as a general interest site. This is a good thing because the niche social network for travel site will maintain a much more personal feel to it.

Spa Holidays in Corfu

Corfu

Corfu

My boyfriend and I needed to get away. Our Corfu holiday provided a blissful extravaganza away from the hustle and bustle of life. On the luxury Greek Island, we found ourselves unwinding in so many ways, all while opening our minds to new relaxation experiences set within the natural scenery and historic sites.

Corfu is known as the green island, because of its year round lush greenery. But that doesn’t even begin to cover the many type of colorful flowers that pop out against the green. Furthermore, over three million olive trees cover the island, remaining uncut to enjoy their beauty as well as their bounty. Simple walks in these settings calmed us down from the flight, and put us in the mood for an eye-opening journey in a mystical setting. it truly felt magical.

Corfu boasts many ancient ruins. Romance blossomed as we lingered in the memory of former decadence. Across Corfu, The Ruins of the Roman Baths reveal how Romans reveled in splendor. A well-preserved section of the baths were discovered in 1985 on private land. Built around 200 A.D., the baths reveal a startling capability for design and ingenuity. One location contains stunning mosaic work that delights the senses. The various bath locations are usually close to other magnificent sites such as the Olive Growing Institute. Exploring such gorgeous surroundings inspired us to take advantage of the hospitality of the island by relaxing in some of the Corfu spas. (more…)
