Travel to Yellowstone National Park


Yellowstone National Park is the oldest national park in the world and the largest in the continental United States, being established in 1872. A treasure trove of cultural, historic, geothermal and geological sites is waiting to be discovered by visitors. The park is located in the states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho and has over 3450 square miles. Due to the uniqueness of the site, the Yellowstone National Park was designed in 1968 a World Heritage Site.

The park contains active volcano, lakes, rivers, hot springs, canyons, mountains, grasslands and forests. Activities that can be done include enjoying the wonders of nature, horseback riding, fishing, boating, hiking and camping. The 12 campgrounds from the park are opened usually from May to September, even if some are opened including during the autumn. The Mammoth campground is open all around the year.
